Microneedling is a chemical-free and minimally invasive treatment for stimulating collagen production. As we age, collagen and elastin production break down (helped by sun exposure and lifestyle factors) and the texture and appearance of our skin changes. Microneedling can help reverse this breakdown giving us a glowing and smoother looking complexion. I use a special microneedling pen to work across the skin to create small controlled micro-punctures to the skin triggering the body's natural healing process to produce more collagen and elastin to wake up the skin. A course of microneedling is recommended for best results and can help treat fine lines, scars, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, large pores and acne scarring.
